| Administrated by Chongqing Chemical Industry Bureau, Chongqing Chromate Yellow Factory, a middle sized state-owned enterprise, was established. |

| The Chongqing Chromate Yellow Factory was settled at No. 75 New Danzishi Street, Nanan District, Chongqing, and renamed Chongqing Jiangnan Chemical Company. Its main products were Medium Chrome Yellow, Lemon Chrome Yellow and Pigment Blue. |

| The oxalic acid product line was built and put into effect. |
| X 1974 |
| The establishment of Potassium Borohydride plant made Chongqing Jiangnan Chemical Company on the list of Potassium Borohydride manufacturers in China. |

| New products pearly pigment and vesicant were made. |
| X 1989 |
| Increased the KBH4 producing capability to 50mt/y; invested in Chrome Yellow Tec-reform, and expanded the capacity to 1100t/y. Completed chrome yellow production line’s exhaust gas and liquid control and treatment project as well as the waste liquid control and treatment project of the whole factory. |
